Light displays and tours

Lights at Lafarge
Lafarge Lake in Town Centre Park. The season kicks off Friday, November 27, 5:00 to 8:00pm, with light displays, local food trucks and live entertainment. Entry is free. The route follows the loop trail around the lake. Take the Millennium Line to Lafarge Lake-Douglas Station. The closing date and nightly hours for 2026 had not been published, so check the City’s Lights at Lafarge page before you go.

Tree lightings, Santa photos and parades

No Coquitlam tree lighting with a confirmed 2026 date and time was found, and no Coquitlam Santa parade with a confirmed 2026 date was found.

Practical notes

Lights at Lafarge is a walk, not a drive-through, so dress for an evening outdoors and go on a weeknight if you want a calmer loop. Kickoff night is the busy one, with food trucks and music. For the markets, Poirier Forum and Evergreen Cultural Centre are the two addresses to plan around in December.
